Christmas at the Junction
November 11, 2019
It’s hard to believe that it’s that time of year already! Christmas a the Junction starts THIS Friday (11/16) and runs through 1/1/20! Christmas is one of our favorites times of year here- so much so that we’ve compiled a list of why it’s so special to us.
Atmosphere
Every year I am always so impressed by the transformation of EnterTRAINment Junction for the holidays. The lights, the music, the decorations… It definitely gets you in the spirit of Christmas. I love walking down “main street” and feeling transported back in time.
Free display
If you’re in a time crunch or just looking for something to do to kill some time, we offer a FREE Christmas train display in our expo center (*may be closed certain evenings for events*)
It’s a beautiful display built from scratch each year by our amazing volunteers. The picture on the left was taken a couple days ago as our display for this year is still being built – I cannot wait to see the finished product! Picture at right shows what it has looked like in previous years.
Wonderland experience
Not only do you get to see Santa, you get to journey through the North Pole! Guests walk through a snowy wonderland, visit the elves and reindeer, share a cookie with Mrs. Claus and then visit with Santa in his study. Unlike most places, you’ll get your own private time with Santa to take pictures, tell him your wish list, and make wonderful memories!
Shopping
We know how important holiday shopping is so why not get it all done in one place?! The hobby shop and gift shop have great stocking stuffer ideas. Junction hobbies and toys also has a huge selection of unique and nostalgic toys-for all ages!
As you can see, Christmas at the Junction is a magical time and fun for all ages! We love when whole families come to create new traditions and make lasting memories! The Junction also offers holiday parties which can be fun for work outings or family get togethers. If you have any photos you’d like to share from your visit with us, please share on our facebook page!
