Stay healthy this fall!

November 2, 2021

It seems like staying healthy is a bigger priority these days. Even before COVID EnterTRAINment did what it could to ensure that the facility was as clean as possible. Today this includes sanitizing the kids play structure and other high touch areas, cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, offering hand sanitizer, and more.

Because we value healthy families we have a few tips to keep you and your family health this fall!

1. Don’t Cough Into Your Hands

Coughing into your hands is one of the quickest ways to spread germs. When an infected person coughs or sneezes, infectious agents may be passed on to others. Teach your children to cough into a tissue then wash their hands afterwards. If you don’t have a tissue, using the inside of your elbow also helps prevent the spread of germs.

2. Get Lots of Rest

When we are stressed and under rested our immune systems weaken and make us more susceptible to get sick. Keep your children and yourself well rested and limit stress levels so everyone’s immune system is operating at it’s fullest potential.

3. Eat a Healthy Diet

A well balanced diet filled with good nutrients will help strengthen immune systems and fight off bad germs. Here is a list of immune-boosting foods to help you get through cold and flu season.

4. Wash Hands And Surfaces Frequently

Be sure to wash your hands frequently throughout the day. (And for at least 20 seconds each time!) I think we have all gotten into a better habit of washing or sanitizing our hands more frequently. Surfaces should also be wiped down with a clorox wipe, lysol etc. Keep surfaces that are touched by kids cleaned frequently.

5. Stay Up To Date With Vaccines

Vaccinations are one of the most effective ways to prevent illness. Flu shots and other regular vaccines are important to health of you and your family. They work with your body’s natural defences to build protection against diseases.
