Who is that famous blue engine we all know and love?? Yep, you guessed it- it’s Thomas and EVERYTHING THOMAS MONTH is back at EnterTRAINment Junction now through September 15th!
To get us in the mood for this blog lets start out with a Thomas fun fact! Did you know that Thomas was essentially an after thought? The first book that came out was called The Three Railway Engines and featured Edward, Gordon and Henry. Thomas didn’t even come about until a few years later!
Now that we got that out of the way, here are 4 reasons why you should come out to celebrate EVERYTHING THOMAS with us!
- Thomas scavenger hunts. Even though we change the scavenger hunts out once a month, it’s always fun to find new things hidden in the display. The Thomas hunt is great for little ones – especially if they don’t have a long attention span! It’s simple and easier than some of the other ones.
- Thomas coloring and activities. You will see some coloring activities in the kids play area and if you make your way to the fun house, there will be a couple of small crafts in there as well!
- Outdoor train ride. Who doesn’t love some fresh air and a ride on Thomas himself?!
- Specials in Junction Hobbies and Toys such as 15-50% off all Thomas and Friends items! They have a great line of Thomas wooden railway items and have recently added new items like Thomas games, bowling sets, and school supplies.
