Christmas in Cincinnati

December 5, 2018

There is no shortage of Christmas spirit here in Cincinnati! We’ve compiled a list of fun Christmas activities for you and your family to partake in around the tristate!  Of course, we think our Christmas at the Junction is pretty spectacular, but our friends around town also have some incredible displays and festivities! Below are just a sampling:

Cincinnati Zoo The PNC Festival of Lights has been a family holiday tradition for over 30 years. They are proud to be the largest holiday light display in Cincinnati.

Cincinnati Museum  Holiday Junction, featuring the Duke Energy Holiday Trains, has returned! A display of hundreds of model trains zipping around a winter wonderland, has been a part of Cincinnati holidays since 1946.

Holiday in Lights Holiday in Lights is an affordable outdoor light display at Sharon Woods, viewed by guests from the comfort of their own vehicle. Holiday in Lights is built with over 1 million lights and over 120 light displays and has been an established Cincinnati holiday family tradition for over 28 years.

Christmas Ranch You can make this Christmas season special with the lights, shops, bonfires and train and wagon rides!

Newport Aquarium Newport Aquarium invites the public to experience a Cincinnati holiday tradition under the sea at Scuba Santa’s Water Wonderland. Join the fun as Scuba Santa fills his air tank with magic bubbles – and sends them throughout the Aquarium creating an enchanted Water Wonderland.

Coney Island In the warmth of your own car, you can sing along to the sounds of the season synchronized to each holiday display. Christmas Nights of Lights welcomes carloads of families and friends to enjoy this Christmas tradition. With two and a half miles to drive through, your family can see displays and light shows made of over a million lights driven by more than forty thousand computer channels.

Kings Island Winterfest is back! It’s an unforgettable experience with the park transformed into ten enchanting winter wonderlands. There’s something for everyone in the family to enjoy together, like ice skating on the Royal Fountain, seeing the Eiffel Tower transformed into a magical 314-foot tall Christmas tree, live shows, rides, delicious holiday treats, millions of lights and holiday characters spreading merriment, like Jack Frost, Candy Cane and the Sugar Plum Fairy.
