How long does the attraction take to see?

Expect to take 1 ½ -4 hours to enjoy all of our attractions.  Many people can spend hours looking at details in the train display. If there are small kids in your group people tend to stay longer in our kids play area.  The A-Maze-N FunHouse is very popular with both young and old.  The Museum will normally take an hour for those interested in railroading history. The longest a guest has told us they have been here was just short of 8 hours!

Are you wheelchair accessible?

We are wheelchair/stroller accessible. Most of our attraction is one story and our overlook area has a certified ADA lift for access. We have a couple of wheelchairs that can be provided to guests on a first come first serve basis.

What are your prices for tickets?

Our pricing for Admission tickets is located on our main ticket page. http://www.entertrainmentjunction.com/cincinnati_shop_model_railroad/tickets  Our best single day admission is our Do-It-All ticket which changes in price based on what attractions we have open.  Our best Deal is our 1st Class Boarding Pass which includes unlimited admission for one year from the date of purchase and tons of other specials.

When are you open?

We’re open Monday-Saturday 10-6 and Sunday from 12-6.
We’re closed Wednesdays-  January-March and we’re closed Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter

**Special holiday hours: December 15th through December 23rd we will remain open until 9pm as well as December 26th through December 30th we will remain open until 9pm. We close at 4pm on Christmas Eve and New Years Eve.

From 75 South-
-Take Exit 22, Tylersville Road
-Turn left off the exit
-Turn right on to Kingsgate (there is a Thorton’s gas station on the corner)
-Turn right onto Squire Ct, that dead ends into us

From 75 North-
-Take Exit 22, Tylersville Road
-Turn right off of the exit
-Turn right on to Kingsgate (there is a Thorton’s gas station on the corner)

From 71 North-
-Take the Kings Island/Western Row Road exit, exit 24
-Turn left on to Western Row (signs for Western Row Road)

What if I need to reschedule my party?

There is no charge to reschedule a party.  If a party is cancelled the $75.00 deposit may be used as credit at Entertrainment Junction. Sorry, no refunds.

Can I bring in my own decorations and goodie bags?

Yes, you are welcome to bring in decorations and goodie bags.  Be aware that our hobby shop also offers party favors, balloons, and gifts.  Note: We we do not permit wall or ceiling decorations installed in a fashion that will damage the facility. Silly string and confetti are not permitted.

What about the Cake?

You may bring in your own cake and candles. For an additional $30.00 we can supply a cake for up to 16 people.

Will there be a party host available to help me with my party?

A party host will be available for Box Car and Locomotive packages only.  Flat Car parties will be served food and then the guest will run the party and will be required to clean up afterward.

What food will be supplied at the party?

Party guests will receive a slice of cheeze pizza or hot dog, chips and drinks.  Additional food may be purchased for other guests and chaperones.
Note: Paid admission to our attractions is required for everyone other than one chaperone for party guests 12 years of age or younger.

How long does the party last?

Guests may stay in the reserved space for 50 minutes, but may remain in the facility as long as they wish until closing.

What time should I arrive at the party?

The party parents should arrive 15 minutes early so that any changes can be addressed and the final payment can be made.

Do I need to stay at the party?

Yes, at least one adult must remain with the party at all times.

Can more guests be added to a party?

Yes, guests may be added for the charge of $10.00 each

Can I include parents and caregivers and siblings in my party number

Each paying guest under 12 may bring one parent or caregiver FREE.  Children under the age of 3 may attend for free but would not get party food or a free chaperone. Additional parents or caregivers will be charged $10.00 for the attraction.

How many guests may come to the party?

We have several party options. Main party rooms and preview area hold 30 people comfortably.  More they 30 people will be standing room only. Due to the Fire Code Regulations, we will not be able to allow more that 40 people in one room. If you have 40 or more people, you will need an additional party room or rooms and additional party packages.  Guests added above those included with the party package may be added to any party for $10.00 each.

Do I need to pay a deposit to reserve the party?

Yes, a $75.00 non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking and the balance may be paid on the day of your party.

How do I schedule an EnterTRAINment Junction party?

Just give us a call to reserve your day and time.  Call 513-898-8000 ext. 203 to leave a message and someone will return your call as soon as possible.  Note: the party and event line is not staffed on Sundays.

How does a birthday party run?

The person who is paying for the party needs to arrive 15 minutes prior to the scheduled party start time to make necessary changes and make final payment. Beverages will be brought out 5 minutes after the official party start time and food will be brought out 15 minutes after the official party start time.  If you scheduled a Flat Car party remember this is un-hosted party.  If you schedule a Box Car or a Locomotive Party, a host will get wristbands on your guests, assist with serving food to the children, cutting and serving the cake to the children, checking on you throughout the party, keeping your birthday party on schedule and cleaning up the room after the party.  If you have selected a Bonus Package, a host will also take your party on a backstage walk-through and take your picture.
