The greater Cincinnati area has a wide variety of options for the train lover in your family! If you’re looking to see trains of all shapes and sizes check out some of the options below:

Behringer Crawford is an interactive transportation museum featuring boats, trains, automobiles, artifacts, a street car, and more.

Carillon Park each year hosts a rail festival with live steam engines, model train displays, historical exhibits, rail vendors, and miniature trains.image

The Cincinnati Dinner Train is a three-hour train ride on restored vintage rail cars complete with a four-course meal. This ride departs every Saturday at 6:00 (except for January and February). The Cincinnati Dinner Train can also help you celebrate special events whether it be a birthday or anniversary as well as offer other train rides such as taking a cab ride in actual working locomotive!

EnterTRAINment Junction hosts the world’s largest indoor train display with 90 running trains and 2 miles of track! There is also an interactive railroad museum that shows the history of railroading.

The Kentucky Railway Museum is filled with railroad artifacts and memorabilia, a large model train display, but it’s much more than just a museum! They offer train rides like The Great Train Robbery, Day out with Thomas, and seasonal rides.

Lebanon Mason and Monroe operates from Historic Downtown Lebanon and offers scenic train rides through Southwestern Ohio in Warren County. They host one hour train rides with special events for children such as the popular Day Out With Thomas rides, Curious George days, and seasonal events like their Easter Bunny Express and North Pole Express!
